i randomly woke up at 3am on saturday the 13th and when i randomly wake up, i always check my phone. i had a text from rian telling me that tierra won 20 under 20. i asked her how she knew and she said she got an email. i was like -____- cos that means i gotta grab my computer, get out of bed and go on the cold back porch to check my email cos that’s the only place where i get internet at my grandparent’s house lol. i logged into my email and saw (1) . . i was like =O IT CAN’T BE !! i clicked on it and BOOM . . got an email from janet’s team. i literally almost fell off my chair. i couldn’t believe i actually got chosen. i was shaking like crazy and all i can do i scream tweet LOL. i attacked shannon’s bbm cos i had promised her that i would take her if i won. she was sleeping. i was like WE’RE MEETING JANET !!!!!

cierra got to jersey around 4am on friday the 18th. shannon came to pick us up so we can go to nyc. we just walked around nyc then met up with don at his hotel room, had a few drinks lol. most of us hadn’t eaten all day so those two drinks had us a mess lmao. after we had a couple drinks, we headed out to dinner before the concert. screaming janet songs on the streets LOL. our waiter was hilarious. we all ordered a drink aka my first drink i ordered as a 21 year old haha. the drinks came with a shot of tequila, lawdddd hahahaha. after dinner we headed right to the concert. yet again, screaming janet songs on the streets lmao. i was so hella excited and anxious cos we didn’t know what seats we got from the 20 under 20. we picked up our tickets from the will call and almost fainted. i was freaking out cos we got 3RD ROW !! i ran to shannon and was like WE GOT 3RD ROW !! we cried lol. we were so excited and couldn’t believe we got 3rd row. people from BET and 106 & park interviewed us before the concert started. they’re doing a story on the 20 under 20s from the nyc show. the people behind us kept on questioning us about the 20 under 20 thing. we went AWWWWWF the entire concert. didn’t sit. all of us can’t walk cos we’re so sore lmao. we were jumping up and down like crazies. gil and james saw us in the audience AND so did JANET ahhhh. shannon was dancing in the isle with some random lady bahaha. we had an amazing time at the concert. there were a lot of older people around us so they were sitting most of the show, especially during the ballads and her newer songs. there was this one stan 2 rows in front of us who was going AWWWWWF too lol. after the concert, people came up to us and were like that we need to teach the younger people and keep them off the streets. that what we’ve done for the community is amazing and to keep on going. they even took pictures of us lmao. we didn’t know them nor did they know who we were, they just knew that we were the 20 under 20 winners.

after basically everyone left, we had to go over to wait online to go upstairs to meet JANET. ahhhhhhhhhh. we tried to be last online, we were successful until right before we met her. #fail. we’re waiting, my heart is racing. security comes and was like okay let’s go. we went upstairs. then they told us to go in this room to wait. that room happened to be the dancers DRESSING ROOM !! we saw all the costumes *faints* we only stayed in there for 10 seconds cos janet’s security came and was like ‘no they can’t be in here’ lmao. we were like ‘they told us to come in here and wait’ so we had to leave and wait in the little hallway. we’re waiting . . and waiting. i was trying so hard not to cry. tony, stephen & joey were joking and laughing at us (well mostly me lmao). then it’s our turn to go into the meet & greet room. we walk in (the group in front of us was still in there). i slowly walked in the room, looked up and there is janet *cries* honestly the most gorgeous woman. her face is just flawless. i couldn’t believe she was standing 15 feet in front of me. you think her pictures are gorgeous?! giiiiirl if you ever see her in person you will GAG !! i was shaking. i was so nervous. we put our stuff down and walk over by janet. we took our picture with her then we had like 5ish minutes with her. i was all quiet lol. i didn’t know what to say, i was just in awe. her beauty is riiiiiidiculous. as a group, we did pretty well at having a conversation with her. when we went in, after the picture, we told her we were going AWWWWWF in the audience and she was like ‘yeah i know, i saw you guys in the audience, you guys were doing the signs’ *falls off chair* yasssss janet !! that was us !! we had the hearts signs up & cierra was holding up the janfam shirt too. shannon made her a book that had pictures of her & letters from fans; she LOVED it =D everyone asked for a hug. i was the last. i looked at her right in the eyes and basically whispered ‘can i have a hug’ she goes ‘of course’ *faaaaaaaaaints* AHHH i just hugged JANET JACKSON !! she gives the best hugs<33 she hugs you like she really means it. she squeezes you lol. she smelled so good too haha. shannon wanted to twirl so badly bahaha. when we were about to leave, stephen asked us if we were going to the signing and i was like ‘yeah we’re going right after this and camping out’ janet was like ‘wait you’re not going to sleep’ we were like ‘nopeee’ hahaha. we remembered to tell her our names. cierra asked janet if she was going to remember us tomorrow (at the book signing) and she repeated our names TWICE !! she was like ‘tierra, cierra, ashley and shannon’ while pointing at each of us and asked if we’re going to be wearing the same thing, we were like ‘yeahh’. our turn was up and we had to leave. that’s when we all cried. we got our stuff and walked to the elevator. the lady in the elevator was like ‘ohh they’re all crying. we usually get A crier but not everyone’ LADY, SIT DOWN. we just met, hugged & talked to JANET JACKSON. when we left, we smelled like janet. her perfume rubbed off on us bahaha <333333 I PHUCKING LOVE THIS WOMAN !!

haha when we left, there was a big crowd of people outside waiting for janet to come out. one girl was like ‘they’re crying, they must have just seen janet’ i wanted to be like ‘NO HOE, we just MET janet” lmao. but i didn’t say anything.

concert is over, meet & greet is over . . now it’s time to head to barnes & noble. we went to shannon’s car first, to get our books and what we need for the book signing. we stopped in some stores along the way, we were in duane reades when i saw nez tweet something about a video from janet. we got to the book signing about 3am? when we arrived, people from BET were there. luke (from BET) was the one who had the video so when we got there, we watch it. janet thanked the people for camping outside barnes & noble, we were like OMGEE we got this message from her cos of US! we were the ones who told her we’re camping out *falls off chair* . . they interviewed us more. i hope i don’t look like a fool cos i look so weird and fugly on camera lmao. we basically just chilled outside barnes & noble. some took naps. about 7am-ish, we went to mcdonalds and got some breakfast. at 10am is when they were suppose to open the doors for us to buy ‘true you’ (cos we had to buy at least one to get a wristband) so they lined us up about 9. they musta counted heads like 4792793238 times lmao. we waited. they finally let us in. we bought our books etc. the line was pretty long. after we got our wristbands, we had to go on the back of the line, basically starting a new line for the signing. they split everyone that was at barnes & noble into two groups. one group for purple wristbands and the other group got a different color. the other group was the back of the line cos there was only a certain amount that they guaranteed to get their book signed due to the time constraints. *shrugs* we were all the way up front haha. anywaysss, we just chillen. blogtv’d with kevin aka the skorpion, that was cool lol. danced and sang to janet. met a new friend whom we named lulu bahaha. we’re soo bad, i’m not even gonna say why we called her lulu lmao.

around 2:30 (i guess) they started bringing us inside, upstairs. we were in sets of 20. and there was exactly 20 of us too lol. we lined up in the isles of books. waited for janet to arrive. she was late but she’s always late. i don’t care tho lmao. as long as she shows up i’ll wait all damn day. there was one set of 20 in front of us. they got their books signed and we move up and BOOM there goes janet sitting at the table looking gorgeous as always. we said she looked like a judge lol. not in a bad way, it just looked like it cos she was sitting at a table with all black and then a white sorta collar haha. anyways, we see her and our excitement overflows. i did not cry this time lol. the line gets shorter and i’m trying to figure out what to say. i get up there and what do i do? talk 10000000 mph, said too much and didn’t give her time to respond bahaha. smh. but, janet still signed by book *shimmies* then we get outside and there goes access hollywood. they’re interviewing some girl. then most #janfam was outside the door and then we starting chanting JANET. JANET. JANET. they filmed the fans outside and we’re yelling and cheering lol. soo you might see us on access hollywood. boom.
